Briar Woods High School is one of 29 high schools nationwide to receive the W!se Platinum Star School Award for the 2021-2022 academic year.
The Platinum Star recognizes an entire school’s achievement. To earn this award, a school must achieve a 90 percent pass rate on W!se’s Financial Literacy Certification Test. At least half the students on a grade level or 10 percent of a school’s enrollment must take the test to qualify for this award.
Founded in 1998, W!se’s mission is to improve economic mobility through programs that develop financial literacy and readiness for college and careers.
