LCPS Students Named National Merit Scholars

 

Twelve Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) students received $2,500 scholarships for being named National Merit Scholars.

The awards were announced Wednesday, May 11, by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. A total of 2,500 students were designated National Merit Scholars.  The Scholars were selected from a pool of 15,000 finalists for their accomplishments, skills and potential for success in rigorous college studies. 

The 2022 Loudoun County National Merit Scholars are:

  • Raahi Chada, Rock Ridge High School;
  • Adrian Cheung, Broad Run High School;
  • Aarav Khanna, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology;
  • Neha Krishna, Rock Ridge High School;
  • Sunjum Mehta, John Champe High School;
  • Manasvi Mothe, Briar Woods High School;
  • Dheemanth Munipalli, Rock Ridge High School;
  • Hasita Nalluri, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
  • Mitchell Palmer, Stone Bridge High School;
  • Akash Pamal, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology; 
  • Hriday Unadkat, Independence High School; and
  • Larina Yu, Stone Bridge High School.
