LCPS Students Earn Recognition at International DECA Conference

 

Forty-eight Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) students earned top honors at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) on April 26 in Atlanta.

 

DECA is an association of marketing students.

 

The conference competitions are designed to simulate real-life business scenarios and test students’ academic understanding and skills development. The top state winners put their talents to the test during the program’s final round of competition in Atlanta. The DECA International Career Development Conference was the pinnacle of competition during which nearly 18,000 students vied for international honors. 

 

LCPS students receiving recognition at the international level were:

  •  Marketing Communications Series: Mayukha Rajupalepu, top 10 role play
