Stacker Rates LCPS 5th Among Virginia School Divisions


Stacker has ranked Loudoun County Public Schools fifth-best out of Virginia’s 132 school divisions in a report issued January 6.

Founded in 2017, Stacker combines data analysis with editorial context and authoritative experts to drive its content. In compiling these rankings, Stacker used rankings from Niche. Niche ranks school districts based on a variety of criteria including academics (SAT/ACT scores and state proficiency tests), teacher salaries, expenses per student, and access to extracurricular activities.

The top 10 school Virginia’s school divisions as rated by Stacker are:

  1. Falls Church City Public Schools
  2. Arlington Public Schools
  3. York County School Division
  4. West Point Public Schools
  5. Loudoun County Public Schools
  6. Fairfax County Public Schools
  7. Virginia Beach City Public Schools
  8. Albemarle County Public Schools (Charlottesville)
  9. Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools
  10. Montgomery County Public Schools (Christiansburg)

Loudoun County has the largest number of students among the top five school divisions.
