The Loudoun County School Board will hold its Annual Organizational Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, at the Loudoun County Public Schools Administrative Offices, 21000 Education Court, Ashburn.

Superintendent Dr. Scott Ziegler will chair this meeting until the School Board elects a chair for the 2022 calendar year. Following its business session, the School Board will convene a closed meeting.

On Wednesday, January 5, at 4 p.m, Ziegler will present the Superintendent's Proposed Fiscal Year 2023 Operating Budget at a Special School Board Meeting for Presentation of the Superintendent’s Proposed FY23 Operating Budget.

Members of the public will be allowed to view these meetings in the School Board Meeting Room. There will be no public comment periods at either of these meetings.

The public will be admitted through the west entrance of the Administrative Offices. To ensure physical distancing, seating will be spaced to avoid close physical contact, resulting in limited seating. Mask-wearing for those attending the January 4 and January 5 meetings in-person will follow LCPS’ current guidance for the 2021-2022 school year and posted signs at the LCPS Administrative Offices.

The meeting will be live-streamed on LCPS.org and televised on Comcast channel 18 and Verizon FIOS channel 43.
