Report on Equity 2021

Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Interim Superintendent Dr. Scott Ziegler released Promise and Progress: Report on Equity 2021 on Tuesday, June 1.

“We’ve come so far in the equity journey, but we have not yet reached the end,” Ziegler said in releasing the report. “Students in Loudoun County are growing up in a much different Loudoun County. Listening to their experiences and voices affirms our commitment to continue our work to make progress on the Detailed Action Plan to Combat Systemic Racism and the Comprehensive Equity Plan.”

Promise and Progress includes a Message from the Interim Superintendent; an executive summary of LCPS’ equity efforts; the changing demographics of our students; LCPS’ definition of equity; findings and recommendations from the Comprehensive Equity Assessment; the Comprehensive Equity Plan; the school division’s commitment to the community and more.
