School Board Agenda January 12


The Loudoun County School Board will hold a virtual meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, with some School Board members participating in the School Board meeting room at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administrative Offices in Ashburn, and some participating remotely.


A Public Hearing on the proposed Rock Ridge High School cellular tower will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by public comment on other items on the agenda.

The School Board will accept public comment three ways -- in-person, live virtually (remote) and written -- at this meeting. Please see the related story on for links to registration options.


The meeting will begin with a work session on the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget.


The board will consider seven action items during the meeting: Proposed Policy 1040 Revision Based on Equity Committee Recommendation; a No Name-Calling Proclamation; Policy 6310, Facilities Use, Review; Employee Stipends; Additional Leave Information; County Reserve Release Appropriation; and Information Related to the COVID-19 Response and Metrics Informing Decisions Related to the Implementation of the Hybrid Model in Stages.


The agenda contains one information item: Milestone Communications’ Proposed Rock Ridge High School Cellular Tower. 

The meeting will be live-streamed on and televised on Comcast channel 18 and Verizon FIOS channel 43.
