Vex Robotics Mentor Training August 27th

 

The Nova SySTEMic Vex Robotics Mentor Training will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27th, at the Manassas Battleview Office (10500 Battleview Parkway, Manassas, Va).

 

Training is designed for coaches, mentors and parents that lead VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) and VEX IQ Challenge (VIQC) teams. Whether you are new or experienced, this is a great time to connect with other individuals, share ideas, and learn about the upcoming year.

 

A wide range of topics will be covered including:

  • Virginia program overview
  • Starting a robotics team
  • Competition season overview
  • Changes for the 2019-20 season
  • Overview of the VEX Robotics Competition (VRC)
  • Overview of the VEX IQ Challenge (VIQC)

Teams from Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) are among the 24,000 competition teams from 22,000 schools in 60-plus countries that take part in VEX competitions. VEX Robotics embraces the model of explorative STEM learning. It provides tools for teams from the beginner to master levels.
