Singleton, Place to Be, Apple Federal Receive Business Awards

The Loudoun School-Business Partnership Executive Council announced the recipients of its three major recognitions on Friday, February 9th.

  • Knox Singleton, chief executive officer of Inova, was named the eighth winner of the J. Hamilton Lambert Award. This award recognizes its recipient for leadership in education and community service.

  • A Place to Be is the 2018 recipient of the Make a Difference Award. This honor recognizes business partners and individuals who make a significant, lasting, positive difference in the lives of our children, our community and our future.

  • Apple Federal Credit Union is the recipient of the Legacy Award. This award is for long-standing school-business partners that previously received the Business Partnership Recognition Award.

The three award winners will be honored at the 29th School-Business Partnership Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, March 9th, at the National Conference Center. Presented by the Loudoun School-Business Partnership Executive Council, the breakfast honors those businesses that support Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS).

Tables for the event cost $450 for a table of 10 and may be tax-deductible through a donation to the Loudoun Education Foundation, a 501C (3) organization. (Individual seats may be purchased for $45.)
