Spring Writing SOL
Expedited retakes until June 7
This summer, the Office of Assessment Services (OAS) will not be offering a day of testing for Virtual Loudoun students, with the exception of students enrolled in English 11 who must be offered the Writing SOL test July 8-11. Instead, students will be assessed at their home school as soon after the first day of school as possible. OAS has collaborated with Virtual Loudoun to ensure that students can access course content, Practice SOL Test Items, and Released SOL tests during the brief break between course instruction and assessment.Additionally, OAS will follow recent state legislative changes that reduce the number of SOL tests students are required to take. OAS will review each student’s diploma status and transcript, then email the student and parent assessment information. If you have questions, please contact:Leigh Bennett
