•      Welcome to fourth grade and the 2021-2022 new school year.  My name is Heidi Clark and I am looking forward to another amazing year  in fourth grade at Ken Culbert!

Our class is co-taught with Mrs. Puller.  Mrs. Puller and I have know each other for years and been co-teaching for the last three years.  We make a great team!

This will be my six year at KWC and 28th year as an educator.  I have taught fourth grade in Loudoun County for elelven years and Rockingham County for four years. Prior to that I taught third grade for ten years in the Roanoke Valley.

I was raised in Reston and Herndon area and earned an Early/Middle Education degree from Radford University and a gifted endorsent from University of Virginia.   I live in Leesburg with my husband . Our son Ben is finishing up at VCU this year and our son Reid graduated last year and is now living in southwest Virginia working his first professional joy.  As a family we enjoy history, traveling, and spending time with family in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York.

In our class we love to use REMIND as another tool to communicate with you.  REMIND is free and has lots of helpful features.  It allows us to text each other, for me to send out group texts and reminders. One of my features is it allows me to send you photos of what your child is doing  in classroom.  Both Mrs. Puller and Mrs. Clark can be reached through REMIND.  Information on how to join REMIND will be available in the fall.

Please visit and use both Schoology and my KWC web page often.  I post all sorts of things you will find helpful there. An example of this is all of the Virginia Studies units and study guides for the year are already posted there. I add things regularly.

I am looking forward to working together to make your child's fourth grade year exceptional. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  Parents feel free to call me by my first name.
