• Mission Statement:

Kenneth W. Culbert Elementary School's mission is to provide a safe, positive, nurturing environment which embraces individuality and educational risk taking.  We will ensure that all our students are exposed to a variety of instructional experiences that promote exemplary intellectual, social, and emotional growth in order to attain life-long successes in the 21st century.  In establishing such a program, we will seek the support of parents to develop productive, respectful, and responsible citizens who can meet the challenges of a technological and cultural community in an ever changing world.  We strive to assist students to think critically and creatively to problem solve and relate classroom experiences to global issues.
To achieve this mission, we set goals annually based on staff, student, and parent input, as well as goals set by the LCPS School Board and the State of Virginia.
