• Mary Cloutier  - 1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Cloutier joined the CCES learning community in August 2009.  She has taught both kindergarten and first grade.  Mrs. Cloutier loves teaching! She is energized by first graders' curiousity and enthusiasm to learn. Every year Mrs. Cloutier tries to teach the curriculum a little differently incorporating the interests of her students and always seeks new ways to make the content engaging.

Mrs. Cloutier has an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and a Master's degree from the State University of New York. Mrs. Cloutier participates in ongoing professional educational opportunities to develop new and better ways to help students reach their potential as learners.

As a wife, and parent herself to three great young adults, Mrs. Cloutier understands the importance of family involvement in the total education of a child.  She welcomes parents as classroom volunteers, field trip chaperones, helpers for projects, room parents and classroom readers. Mrs. Cloutier encourages families to participate in our school PTA and to attend the variety of school events offered throughout the year.

Mrs. Cloutier is excited about the "Leader in Me" program and sharing the new curriculum with her students and their families.
