My name is David Campione and this is my 12th year of teaching art at Sully Elementary. I consider myself very lucky to continue my life's calling at such a wonderful school. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from James Madison University in May of 2006, and completed student teaching in the Fall of 2007. I began working for Loudoun County Public Schools as a long-term substitute for Arcola Elementary during the spring of 2008. In college, my studies focused on studio art and art education, and I am fully licensed by Virginia’s Department of Education to teach pre-K – 12 visual arts. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year, which I hope to be followed by many more wonderful years working with the talented students here at Sully.
In addition to being the art teacher at Sully, I am also an artist who has sold my work at craft fairs, college shows, and even an eco-friendly gift store. I also play both classical and electric guitar, bass, and hand drums as well. Once again, I would like to express my excitement about the 2019-2020 school year, and I’m eager to see all of the great accomplishments that our students will achieve.
