• Welcome to Fourth Grade!!
     Welcome to my page!
I am so excited to be starting another year in 4th grade here at Sugarland Elementary School!  GO WILDCATS!!  My name is Kacey Greenawalt and this is my 11th year at Sugarland Elementary.  I have 6 years of experience in 3rd grade and now entering my fifth year teaching 4th grade.

I grew up in Connecticut, just outside the capital, Hartford.  After graduating high school, I went on to get a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh (GO PANTHERS!).  When I finished, I moved to Loudoun County and pursued my Master's degree.  I attended Shenandoah University and received a Master's in Elementary Education preK-6.  I have always known I've wanted to be a teacher and am so happy to bring my passion and enthusiasm for teaching to Sugarland!

I am a HUGE sports fan.  I have played soccer, basketball, and softball my entire life.  I LOVE anything and everything that has to do with Pittsburgh sports and am a huge Penguins hockey fan!  I still play softball on a co-ed team.  I love to travel and have been to Spain, Mexico, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico.  I live in Loudoun County with my dog Myles.

I am looking forward to learning with your child!  It is going to be a year full of watching them grow both socially and academically.  We have a lot to learn in 4th grade and I am here to start the learning process but your child is here to take it to new lengths!  :)  This is going to be a great year!!!  If you need to reach me, email me at Kacey.Greenawalt@lcps.org or contact the school at 571-434-4460.  Parents can also message me on Class Dojo.
