The W!SE test measures financial literacy for students taking Personal Finance. A passing score on the W!SE is one option for earning the Career/Technical Education certification required for graduation by the Commonwealth of Virginia. [The Personal Finance course, together with Economics, is also a graduation requirement.] Please speak to Mr. Carson Kramer, our Economics/Personal Finance teacher, for more information on preparing for the W!SE test. You may also practice for the W!SE using the W!SE APP or the website, using login information that Mr. Kramer provides. Click here for instructions.
Another option for the CTE certification is the Workplace Readiness Skills test, which may be given through one of several CTE courses. Students may also be able to fulfill the CTE certification requirement with certain classes; please speak with our counselor, Mr. Tyler Cabatic, for more information on this option.
