Students in Virginia high schools take Standards of Learning (SOL) tests at the end of certain classes in English, math, science, and social science. [Some schools, including Robey, use Performance-Based Assessments in place of social science tests.]
SOL scores are usually posted Monday-Friday in ParentVUE within 24-48 hours after the student finishes the test. Go to the 'Documents' portion of ParentVUE or StudentVUE to see the SOL Student Detail By Question Report usually within 2 weeks after the end of the test window. The passing SOL score is 400 (out of 600).
The Virginia Department of Education has provided links to practice SOL tests in all subjects. For more information about SOL testing in Loudoun County Public Schools, you may visit the LCPS Assessment Services site, SOL Testing Program. Your teachers can give you more specific information on how to prepare for your tests.
