My goal for this year is to work as part of a team with students, parents, and other teachers to provide an exceptional, holistic education supporting academic, life, and technical skills for middle school and beyond!
A little about me- I have been working in education for the last 7 years in both special education and private school programs and have taught students from preschool to grade 10. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech. I have also continued my education with extensive graduate coursework in educational psychology at George Mason University and George Washington University, with research experience on the implementation of multimodal instructional technologies for producing learning content in special education classrooms. I take a positive, multisensory and multimodal approach to education focused on building social, technical, and academic skills necessary to be successful in the future!
