Mr. Craig Lewis began his teaching career in North Penn School District in Pennsylvania teaching technology educations for two years. He then moved to Fairfax County Public Schools and gained ten years of experience in instruction and curriculum development at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST). While at TJHSST, he served as the Coordinator for their innovative Integrated Biology, English, and Technology program and also served as Director of the Engineering Design Research Laboratory. Additionally, Mr. Lewis was the Program Director for TJ’s Summer Science and Technology Institute, and coordinator of the TJHSST Science Fair.
Mr. Lewis received his Bachelor’s degree in Technology Education from Virginia Tech and his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. This is his second year as the Director of the Academy of Engineering & Technology. He is thrilled to be part the Academies of Loudoun team and excited to share his passion for STEM with the faculty and students.
