Reading

Hello! My name is Tracie Berry and I am very excited to be one of your Reading Specialists this year! I taught Kindergarten and First Grade for nine years in Fairfax County and came back to teaching in 2011 after taking time off to raise my two sons. I have taught Second and First Grades at Dominion Trail Elementary prior to coming to Forest Grove. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education and a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist, both from George Mason University. I am looking forward to working with students to become "Better Readers, Better Writers and Better Thinkers". I believe that every child is special and unique. 

 My passions are: reading, teaching reading, traveling, watching my boys play hockey and lacrosse, and cheering on VT and the CAPS with my family!
