Mrs. Rhine is thrilled to be back at J. Michael Lunsford Middle School. She grew up in Loudoun County and graduated from Park View High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from George Mason University. She attended Shenandoah University to complete her teaching license coursework and then earned a Masters of Education degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. Before becoming a teacher, she worked in the Department for Personnel Services, now Human Resources and Talent Development. Her first teaching role was at Blue Ridge Middle School. She taught SAMS and Spanish 1 and served as the lead world language teacher. Her next move took her from Western Loudoun County to the Dulles South area as a dean at J. Michael Lunsford Middle School. Mrs. Rhine is proud to be a charter member of this staff. She left to become an assistant principal at Dominion High School but has returned “home” to serve as an assistant principal at J. Michael Lunsford Middle School. She values her high school experience but is excited to be working with middle school students again. At J. Michael Lunsford, Mrs. Rhine is focused on creating a positive environment where students are kind to each other and on ensuring that all students make meaningful contributions to the world.
