Welcome to  the STEM Lab!

This is my seventh year teaching at Sugarland Elementary School. I taught 4th grade my first year and 2nd grade for four years and 3rd grade for a year. I am so excited to be Sugarland's STEM teacher!

I went to elementary school in Ellicott City, MD but moved to Loudoun County for middle school and high school. I went to the University of Mary Washington and got my Bachelor's Degree in Biology and my Master's of Science in Elementary Education with a specialization in Instructional Technology.

I played rugby at Mary Washington and was also an RA for two years. All throughout my life I have enjoyed playing soccer and going to various sporting events. I love Arsenal, the Nationals, and the Capitals! 

I can't wait to meet your child and help them learn and grow! My goal as a teacher is to instill a love of learning and curiosity while teaching them what they need to know for the future. This year is going to be filled with fun and lots of learning!
