    The Gates Scholarship

    The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, full scholarship for exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors, Starting in 2018, the scholarship will be awarded to 300 top student leaders each year with the intent of promoting their academic excellence through college graduation, and providing them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
    Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

    McDaniel College Educator’s Legacy Scholarships - Up to $25,000 renewable scholarship for four years

    This scholarship is offered to sons and daughters of K-12 school employees (teachers, counselors, nurses, support staff, custodians and administrators) with four or more years of current and consecutive full-time employment. Dependents can apply for this renewable scholarship (students who maintain satisfactory academic progress) to attend McDaniel College.

    Schoolhouse Connection's Scholarships - 10 @ $2,000

    Scholarships for students who are entering college for the first time during the 2020-2021 school year and have experienced homelessness within the last six years. Applicant must have been born on or after November 10, 1999. Scholarships are open to those who are high school seniors, or in a GED program; or who have taken a gap year but still meet the other criteria. Undocumented students who meet these criteria are also eligible.
