Welcome to 1st Grade! I am very happy to be your child's teacher. This is my 12th year of teaching. I am excited to teach 1st Grade this year. I previously taught Kindergarten for 11 years and have been at Tolbert for 8 years.

I graduated from East Carolina University. Go Pirates! I'm married to my husband Chris and have 3 children ages 17, 15, and 11 that all attended Tolbert. I also have two dogs named Luna and Archie plus an adorable cat Hazel.  Outside of the classroom I enjoy being at the beach, reading, cheering on my kids at sporting events, and spending time with family.

I believe that learning should be fun and engaging for all students. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child throughout the school year.
