Students use a graphic language for product design and technical illustration. They increase their understanding of drawing techniques learned in the prerequisite courses. They research design-related fields while identifying the role of advanced drawing and design in manufacturing and construction industry processes. They apply the design process, analyze design solutions, reverse engineer products, create 3-D solid models using CADD, construct physical models, and create multimedia presentations of finished designs. They complete a work portfolio based on a chosen graphic project.CLICK HERE for information and a copy of the welcome Letter to Students will be posted shortly.Students in Architectural Drawing will complete the State Tasks / Competencies for the Architectural Drawing and Design Course.Other:
- I usually arrive at school at 8 A.M. on most days. I am available then for extra help or instruction. Makeup work or extra credit can also be completed at this time. Students must schedule the day they would like to come for help to make sure I will be here.
The software titles used in this class are typically Autodesk Inventor and Revit. They are the premier software being used in industry today for Technical, Engineering and Architectural drawing.
