    Course Introduction:

    Students explore the engineering design process and use a graphic language for product design, technical illustration, assembly, patent, and structural drawings. They increase their understanding of drawing and the design process and techniques learned in the prerequisite course. Students use computers, calculators, and descriptive geometry and adhere to established standards to solve design problems.

    Students in Engineering Drawing will complete the State Tasks / Competencies for the Architectural Drawing and Design Course.
    1. I usually arrive at school at 8 A.M. on most days.  I am available then for extra help or instruction. Makeup work or extra credit can also be completed at this time. Students must schedule the day and time they would like to come for help to make sure I will be here.
    2. The software used in class is Autodesk Inventor and Revit.  They are the premier software items being used in industry today for Technical, Engineering and Architectural drawing industries.
    3. The Autodesk Certified User: Inventor certification test is available at the end of this course to selected student completers in Engineering drawing
