Miss Banaszewski earned her Bachelor's Degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Early Childhood Education and Special Education in 2013. She graduated Summa Cum Laude while managing several leadership roles, including being the captain of the Western Equestrian Team. After earning her Pennsylvania certification in education, she moved to Virginia, where she received her Virginia certification in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education K-12.
In her spare time, Miss Banaszewski enjoys many different hobbies. She loves cooking, reading, and writing! As mentioned before, she used to competitively ride horses as the captain of her equestrian team. Someday, she hopes to resume riding lessons.
Miss B grew up near Pittsburgh and has lived there for most of her life. As a result, she is a HUGE fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins! She also loves spending time with her wonderful family back in Pittsburgh.
Most importantly, Miss Banaszewski has a delightful dog named Maya. Maya always ends up being a favorite of Miss B's students, and it's obvious why! She is quite adorable!

Miss Banaszewski can't wait for another successful year! She hopes that her Colts are ready to learn!
