• Miss Bethany Banaszewski
    For the 2024-2025 school year, Miss Bethany Banaszewski (Bana-shh-eh-ski) is looking forward to her eleventh year with Loudoun County Public Schools. She loves being a part of the incomparable school community found at Creighton's Corner Elementary! Miss Banaszewski is a passionate and experienced educator who excels at evaluating student progress through data analysis and employing the insights to tailor teaching strategies for optimal student growth. Her personal teaching philosophy consists of a holistic approach to teaching, and she has a history of success through building rapport, focusing on mental health, and recognizing that a child is more than simply their academics.

    Miss Banaszewski earned her degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Early Childhood Education and Special Education in 2013. She graduated Summa Cum Laude while managing several leadership roles, including being the captain of the Western Equestrian Team and the Student Representative for the Center of Teaching Excellence. After earning her Pennsylvania certification in education, she moved to Virginia, where she received her Virginia certification in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education K-12. 
    In her spare time, Miss Banaszewski enjoys many different hobbies. She loves to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins, listen to music, volunteer at local animal shelters, do home improvement projects, go camping, and spend time with her family and friends. Miss Banaszewski also spends plenty of time with her dog named Maya and two cats--Stella and Nova! 
    Miss Banaszewski can't wait for another successful year! She hopes that her Colts are ready to learn!
