Welcome to Forest Grove Elementary School! It is my pleasure and honor to be serving this community as the principal. There are so many wonderful things about Forest Grove’s fabulous students and dedicated staff. I look forward to meeting all our families, as well as serving collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure positive and trusting relationships.
The 2019-2020 school year, will be my twenty first year in public education. This school year will also mark my 15th year with Loudoun County Public Schools, previously working at Sully Elementary as the Assistant Principal for the last four years. I also served at Newton-Lee Elementary as the Administrative Intern and as a 3rd grade teacher. I taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade in the Oak Grove School District in San Jose, California. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor Degree in Social Science. In 2009, I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.
My goal as your principal is to cultivate a learning community where all students will grow in knowledge, teachers will actively engage students in learning, and parents are seen as valued partners in their child’s education. We appreciate and celebrate the diverse population that we serve and ask for your help in an effort to provide our students with the best possible education. Each day we are striving to ensure that every student that enters Forest Grove is pushed to their potential. In order to reach this goal we need your help, I encourage you to volunteer at Forest Grove and support our students, staff, and PTO. We look forward to working with you to ensure a rewarding year for the students of Forest Grove.
