Hello, Legacy Family!
I am very excited to be Legacy's dean this year. I have fifteen years of teaching experience in grades one through four in Loudoun County Schools. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Reading, both from Virginia Tech. I am currently working on my Masters in Administrative Leadership through Shenandoah University.
I was born in Tucson, Arizona, but have lived in Virginia most of my life. My husband and I have two boys, one at George Mason University and one at Briar Woods High School. They are truly a blessing, and I believe that they have taught me as much as I have taught them.
I know that this will be a year of learning and growing, and I can't wait to meet all of our awesome Labradors and their families!
