    Hello, Legacy Family!

This is my second year as Legacy's dean.  I have fifteen years of teaching experience in grades one through four in Loudoun County Schools. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Reading, both from Virginia Tech. This summer, I completed my Masters degree in Administrative Leadership through Shenandoah University.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona, but have lived in Virginia most of my life. My husband and I have two boys, one who is a Senior at George Mason University and one who is a Senior at Briar Woods High School. The year 2020 will be one of many changes for our family! They are truly a blessing, and I believe that they have taught me as much as I have taught them.

Our theme this year is "Be..." What will your child strive to "Be?" I know this will BE a fantastic year of learning and growing, and I can't wait to experience it with all of our awesome Labs and their families!
