Morning Announcements for Tues., Jan. 15, 2019

    New Announcements:

Club pictures are taking place tomorrow, Wednesday January 16th in the auditorium. Students please listen carefully for your club to be called. We are on a very tight schedule and will need all students to get to the auditiorium as soon as their clubs are called. Teachers we will try to make as few overhead announcements as possible. Thank you for your patience with this.

    Older Announcements:

Yearbooks are on sale now! Avoid the price increase in January by purchasing your yearbook today. Last year we sold out of yearbooks. Please avoid all that drama and purchase your yearbook TODAY. Go to the Eagle Ridge website and click on the yearbook tab.
The You Be the Chemist Eagle Ridge Challenge will be held after school on January 23rd in room A-5. This challenge is open to all students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Students who qualify will advance to the Loudoun County district challenge that will be held later this winter. This is a great opportunity to apply your science knowledge and possibly represent Eagle Ridge in future competitions. Everyone is welcome to participate! Just let your science teacher know so that your name can be added to the list. More information will come, but in the meantime, put January 23rd on your calendar.

Attention Eagle students of all grades, the Red and Black Robotics camp is coming to Eagle Ridge. Learn how to Build-Code a robot. No coding experience is necessary. Students will need to bring their own laptop. Classes will meet every Friday for 2 and half hours starting on January 25 and running for 10 weeks. The club is sponsored by Verizon and the club sponsors are Mr. Boring and Mr Carmolingo. Please go to tinyurl.com/vzredblackroboticscamp
