DO make sure your child completes homework assignments and class projects. Because tests reflect overall achievement, the more effort your child puts into learning, the more likely he will do well on tests.

DO make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast the morning of the test.

DO get your child to school on time the morning of the test. Tests start promptly at 8 am and students need to be settled in their classrooms before 7:50.

DO encourage your child to think positive thoughts about their performance on the test. For example, "I am going to ace this test!"

DO support your child. Praise her for what she does well. When your child feels good about herself, she will do her best.
