Health Office personnel manage the day-to-day care of students with health concerns, maintain information about the health and medical needs of all students, communicate with parents and staff, and encourage good hygiene practices for students and staff.StaffingResource Nurses supervise the Health Clinic Specialist in the elementary schools and develop health-related training programs for school personnel. The Resource Nurse must be a Registered Nurse (R.N.) with at least a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Each Resource Nurse covers 8-12 schools and is equipped with a cellular phone.Middle and High School Health Offices are each staffed by a full-time R.N.Elementary School Health Offices are staffed by a full-time Health Clinic Specialist (H.C.S.) who is supervised by a Resource Nurse.
