Mrs. Gaffney

Mrs. G loves Technology.

Utilizing my business degree from Hofstra University and previous career in international trade helps me incorporate real life situations and examples into my teaching computer technology in the classroom.  I enjoy educating students on modern computer applications that are useful in their education and future careers.

I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in SPED at George Mason University to broaden my teaching stratagies and increase my knowledge of assistive technology.

The semester computer course offers students the opportunity to learn to touch type and format documents.  Students use a variety of software programs working with graphics, word processing and spreadsheets. Students will use business simulations and computer projects to enhance their decision-making skills and relate computer technology to real life situations, including filling out job applications and creating resumes.
