Hi!  My name is Mrs. Masters and I love being a kindergarten teacher here at Liberty!  Liberty is a beautiful school and I am sure everyone is going to have a fantastic year.
I began my teaching career in 1991 in Fairfax County Public Schools.  I taught for nine years, teaching first grade, second grade, and special education preschool.  In the year 2000, I decided to be a stay- at-home mom for my two sons, Jack and Sam.  Jack is now 23 years old and is currently serving in the United States Coast Guard in Kodiak, Alaska.  Sam is 19 years old and is a sophmore at the University of Lynchburg.
I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Several years later I completed my Masters in Special Education from George Mason University.  I have been a South Riding resident for 24 years and love being a part of this very special community.  This is my 14th year teaching Kindergarten at Liberty.
My family and I enjoy many activities together such as hiking and traveling.  I enjoy reading, cooking, doing projects around the house, and rummaging through flea markets.  We have another family member as well, our dog Rosco who is the best dog ever!
