     Mrs. Sharif
Hi! My name is Tammy Sharif and I am thrilled to be a Kindergarten Teacher this year at Liberty Elementary.  I graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  During my time at Penn State, I had an opportunity to study abroad in Chichester, England where I taught fifth grade students. This was a wonderful experience that I will always treasure.

My family and I live in Ashburn, VA.  We have three daughters; Nikita, who is 14 years old; Natasha, who is 12 years old and Marissa, who is 11 years old.  All three of them enjoy walking our German Shepherd around our neighborhood.  We also have a goldfish named “Champ” that my oldest daughter won six years ago at her elementary school carnival.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, scrapbooking, playing basketball and bike riding. I have also been trying to improve my ping-pong playing skills!

Liberty Elementary is such a welcoming school and I know that we are going to have an awesome year!

Hi! My name is Sophia Imran. This is my 4th year here at Liberty and I am excited to be a part of fabulous kindergarten team this year, helping our young kindergarteners learn and grow. I am originally from Pakistan, and have a Masters in Zoology. Teaching is my passion and I have worked with various grade levels. During my spare time, which I rarely get, I like to relax with my wonderful family here in South Riding. I am looking forward to working with our young eagles.

Hello, my name is Rhonda Foley. This is my ninth year of teaching kindergarten for Loudoun County Public Schools.  I graduated from Radford University in 1979 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health and Physical Education.  In 1985, I moved to Durham, North Carolina where I worked as the Director for a parent cooperative preschool for EPA and NIEHS.  I met my husband while living in North Carolina and we moved to California.  In 1996, I completed a fifth year of study in Elementary Education at the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California. Upon completion of the endorsement, I taught kindergarten for the Redwood City Public Schools in Redwood City, California
My husband and I moved to Ashburn, Virginia in 2000.  For the next six years, I was a "stay-at-home" mom taking care of our son.  John is now 13 years old and will be in 8th grade at Eagle Ridge Middle School.  My family and I enjoyed spending time together and traveling.  I have really enjoyed being back in the classroom and working with young children.  I graduated in 2007 from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia with a Masters of Education in ESOL and International Studies.  I anticipate a wonderful school year and I look forward to working with the kindergartners!
