WELCOME!
Mrs. Kym Peacock has been employed with Loudoun County Public Schools since 1996, first as a substitute teacher, then as a teaching assistant and currently as a Learning (Resource) Specialist. In 1976, Mrs. Peacock graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s (B.A) in Communicative Disorders (Speech Pathology/Audiology). Upon graduation, she married and spent the next twenty years working for doctors and lawyers and raising her children. In 2001, Mrs. Peacock entered George Mason University’s Graduate School of Education and obtained a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) with an emphasis in Counseling and Development in May 2004. Mrs. Peacock holds a Graduate Professional License with endorsements in Counseling (K-12), Learning Disabilities (K-12), and Emotional Disturbance (K-12). In addition, she has completed coursework to achieve Highly Qualified status as a teacher of Earth Science 9th grade/6th grade science, high school social studies, and English/Literacy-Secondary Level.
For the 2022-2023 school year, Mrs. Peacock will teach three sections of reading strategies, one section of academic English 9, and one section of team taught academic US Government with Mr. Mark Lucas.
