Physical EducationThe Creighton's Corner Physical Education program's primary purpose is to enable students in grades K-5 to develop competence in fundamental movement skills by providing a wide variety of developmentally appropriate movement experiences and practice opportunities during a 45 minutes, 2 times a week. Learning experiences are designed to use skill themes and movement concepts to teach the content of each learning strand. The program will focus on skilled movement, movement principles and concepts, personal fitness, responsible behaviors and physically active lifesyles. Age-appropriate fitness and wellness concepts are imbedded in all instructional units.
