    Hi, my name is Carla Wallace.  This is my second year at Hamilton Elementary School and my 20th year in Loudoun County. Before coming to Loudoun County, I  began teaching in Berkeley County, West Virginia.  During my career I have taught kindergarten, first, second, and third grades.  I am thrilled to be teaching third grade again this year.  
     

    I received my Bachelor’s degree from Towson State University. I earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.  I am a National Board Certified Teacher. 

    I live in Charles Town, West Virginia with my husband,  two dogs, and two cats.  I have two grown sons, and spend time with them as much as possible.  I love to read and do crafts in my spare time.  

    I am looking forward to working with all my students and their families this year as we begin our  new school year.
