A little about me...hmmm. Let's see. I was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. My family did spend a nice stint in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta when I was younger, but most of my life was in Sarnia. Then the day came when we moved to the United States and were relocated to Michigan. I finished out high school and attended Western Michigan University where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I was quickly hired by Loudoun County Public Schools upon graduating and made my trek to Virginia. Since being with the County I have taught both fourth and fifth grade here at Seldens Landing Elementary. I couldn’t be happier with the amazing years here and the wonderful people and teams I’ve been able to work with on a daily basis.
I recently earned my Master's degree in Special Education from George Mason University. Since I am not spending my free time writing papers or doing research I keep active by playing as much hockey as I can and continue to try golf....try. If the ball stays on the fairway it's a great day. I also love the game of soccer and did  some coaching at the high school level in years past. When I am not outside I will be either reading a book, watching hockey, playing the odd video game, or "fixing" the house.
