    Other Information:

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Volyn State Pedagogical Institute in Lutsk, Ukraine, in 1980. I had taught mathematics for 10 years at two different school systems (rural and urban) in Ukraine before immigrating to the United States 25 years ago.
While in the United States, I completed my work on Master’s degree in Education, and have been teaching high school mathematics (and some physics) for the past 22 years at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Maine, at Oakcrest School in Mclean, Virginia, and here, at Broad Run. During my professional experience, I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Discrete Mathematics, Pre-Calculus with Limits, Math Analysis, AP Calculus AB, Physics, Astronomy, and Statistics.

Teaching and Mathematics has always been my passion, for which I do not hesitate to give my all. It is more than just a profession to me – it is my true calling, and I dedicate myself to helping my students become intellectually empowered human beings. I have high standards and high expectations for all my students, and I will help them reach those standards and meet those expectations.
