Ms. Kerry Mullane

Ms. Mullane loves being a reading specialist for LCPS. Prior to coming to LCPS, Ms. Mullane has taught grades 3 and 5 in Pennsylvania. She holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Education as a Reading Specialist from Shippensburg University.

Currently, Ms. Mullane is a Literacy Coach and responsible for training teachers in grades K-5 in LCPS reading core curriculum,  Lucy Calkins Reader's Workshop, as well as, Writing Workshop. Ms. Mullane team-teaches with grades K-5 classroom teachers to implement Reader's and Writer's Workshop. In addition to this role, she also implements Reading Resource Literacy groups and strategy groups. 

When not teaching, Ms. Mullane enjoys spending quality time with her children. She also enjoys reading, cooking, painting, riding her bike, traveling, and spending time with her friends.

Mrs. Kristin Cornely

Mrs. Cornely is passionate about reading.  Prior to becoming a reading specialist, Mrs. Cornely taught first grade and preschool.  She holds a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech and an additional Master's Degree in Reading from Shenandoah University.

Currently, Mrs. Cornely is a Literacy Coach and responsible for training teachers in grades K-5 in the LCPS reading core curriculum,  Lucy Calkins Reader's Workshop, as well as, Writing Workshop. Mrs. Cornely team-teaches with grades K-5 classroom teachers to implement Reader's and Writer's Workshop. In addition to this role, she also implements Reading Resource Literacy groups and strategy groups. 

When not teaching, Mrs. Cornely enjoys spending quality time with her husband, kids, and Golden Retriever, Magnolia. She also enjoys reading, photography, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
