Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Christopher Gall
I am excited to start the 2021-22 school year. For all of last year, I was a distance learning teacher. It was challenging, but through patience, flexibility, and grace, we persevered. This year is going to have new challenges for sure. We will have a positive mindset, communication, collaboration, and respect. We will understand that mistakes are part of the process and that pride comes from effort.
A little about me: I graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I received my master's degree from Western Connecticut State University in instructional technology. I enjoy using technology to supplement instruction, and I stay up to date on resources and publications.
I started my teaching career in Connecticut in the town where I grew up. My former teachers became my colleagues, which probably was weirder for them than it was for me. I relocated to Northern Virginia and began teaching for LCPS. I have taught both 4th and 5th grade.
My family lives in Sterling. My son and daughter are going into 4th and 2nd grade. We have a dog named Darla. You might see us going for walks or bike rides on some of the local trails or paths, so if you see me out and about, be sure to say hello.
