Prior to working at Potowmack, Dr. Copeland was called Miss Rzewski.  She taught third grade at Mill Run for two years, and she taught at Banneker Elementary School in Middleburg for six years. She also taught fourth grade in Halifax County, North Carolina.  In her spare time, Dr. Copeland loves to travel. She has visited twenty-five foreign countries on five different continents, and can't decide where to go next. She has a terrific husband named Scott and a son named  Austin. Austin is a student at Simpson Middle School. Dr. Copeland loves to read novels to Austin every night before bed to find good chapter books for Potowmack's library. Come to the library to ask her for the names of books you'd like to read!
