Degrees and Certifications:

Erin Wilhelm

My name is Erin Wilhelm and I am thrilled to be the SEARCH teacher at Pinebrook Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year!

I am originally from Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Vanderbilt University where I received my Master's Degree in Special Education and my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Human and Organizational Development.   This will be my third year as the SEARCH teacher at Pinebrook.  However, I've been a part of the Pinebrook community for the past 6 years as I was previously the Dean at Pinebrook for 4 years.  Prior to working in Loudoun, I worked for the Fairfax County Public Schools for seventeen years, spending ten years working full time as a classroom teacher and assistant principal. Seven of those years, I worked part time as a Mentor Resource Teacher, mentoring first year teachers, and as a Data and Intervention Coach. This part time work provided me the flexibility to stay home more when my three girls were younger, while staying connected to a profession that I love!

During my free time, you will likely find me on the soccer field cheering for my girls, enjoying some type of outdoor activity, cooking or reading a good book.

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year and am absolutely thrilled to be a Pinebrook Puma!
