    Fifth grade is going to be an adventure. Are you up for the challenge?
     
    Maureen Fornatora has been teaching since 1983 and has experience teaching third through sixth graders. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech, and she holds a Postgraduate Professional License with endorsements in Administration and Supervision, Early Education, and Middle Education. 
     
    Mrs. Fornatora’s has been teaching at Newton-Lee since the school opened! She loves being a part of the Newton-Lee community and teaching fifth grade. Mrs. Fornatora lives in Ashburn Farm. Her daughter is also a teacher in Loudoun; she teaches 2nd grade at Horizon Elementary. Her son graduated from Stone Bridge High School last June and is now a freshman at William & Mary. When she has free time, Mrs. Fornatora enjoys reading, attending Orange Theory classes, hiking, and baking.
