Hi Mustangs! My name is Maura McHugh and I am the music teacher at Meadowland! This is my 3rd year at Meadowland and I am so excited to be back! I am from Sterling and absolutely love teaching in the community I grew up in. After graduating from Potomac Falls High School, I received my Bachelors of Music with a concentration in Music Education from James Madison University. I am a trumpet player, and have enjoyed playing internationally with various groups throughout college. Outside of school, I teach private trumpet lessons, work with the Marching Band and Pep Band at Potomac Falls, and enjoy watching sports with my friends.
