Karen Boyer, Technology Resource Teacher

Karen Boyer has been teaching in Virginia for 20 years. After graduating from Mary Washington College with degrees in English and Elementary Education, she taught first grade in Spotsylvania County.  She came to Loudoun County to be part of the opening staff of Horizon Elementary School where she taught first and second grades. Mrs. Boyer received her Masters in Education in December 2004 with a degree in Instructional Technology from George Mason University. As a Technology Resource Teacher, she helps teachers integrate technology into their curriculum. She has worked in several Loudoun County schools in this role, including Ashburn Elementary, Sycolin Creek Elementary and Hamilton Elementary. She is thrilled to be joining the staff at Lucketts and looks forward to working with the wonderful students and staff. 
Denise Bruchman, Technology Assistant

Denise Bruchman is in her 17th year with Loudoun County Schools, the last 12 as a technology assistant.  She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a BS in Business Administration.  After college Denise Bruchman had a career as a flight attendant but left that after having her three children. After staying home with her children for a few years she started her career full time at Cool Spring Elementary School. This year she is working at both Cool Spring and Lucketts.
