Art with Mrs. Halliday

Lowes Island Elementary follows Loudoun County Public Schools Art Curriculum, as well as, the Virginia Visual Arts Standards of Learning. Through this art experience, students will focus on creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking.

Students in grades Kindergarten - 5th receive 50 minutes of art per week. Mrs. Halliday will work with students to explore their ideas, imagination and expression in art class.

Kindergarten will receive grades of meets, progressing or below (M, P, B) and 1st- 5th will receive a point system from (1-4). Please note, kindergarten does not receive grades for the first marking period.
