      Dear Parents and Students,

My name is Tansy Wetmore.  I am a Loudoun Native!  I grew up in Lovettsville with my parents and three brothers.

I graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Education in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Reading in 2001.  I completed my Library Media certification in 2013.

I live in Round Hill, Virginia with my husband, three sons and the newest addition to our family, Ripley.  My oldest son is fourteen years old, my middle son is ten and my youngest son is seven.  Ripley is our 5 pound Chihuahua that we adopted.  They keep me very busy!!  In my “spare” time I enjoy reading, watching football, and playing with my boys and Ripley.

This will be my sixteenth year teaching in Loudoun County.  I was a reading Specialist for two years and taught Fourth Grade at Cedar Lane Elementary in Ashburn, and second and fifth here at Lovettsville Elementary.  I am very excited to work with all of the students in the library and share my love of reading!
