Mrs. Susan Brown

Hello to our newest Legacy Pups!

I am Susan Brown and I'm so excited to be back teaching Kindergarten this year with my new partner, Mrs. Marion. After ten years in first grade, I'm energized and ready to "Tooty-Ta" my way back to Room One.  As an educator, I get to see the future, so how could I not love my job? Here at Legacy we are dedicated to providing a safe and caring environment for every child. My hope is to empower your child by making them feel loved, safe, and heard. Every child has a voice and I hope that your child will leave my room by the end of the year with the confidence and security to use their voice loud and clear. 

I began teaching 27 years ago after earning my Bachelor of Science from UNLV, followed shortly after with my Master of Education degree from Lesley University.  I am blessed to have been married to my best friend for 18 years. We have 3 amazing pumpkins who have grown up way too fast (don't blink or it will happen to you, too) and a fiesty cat, Mysti, that rules us all.
